Curriculum

  The undergraduate program of GSEPM covers the fields of education and management, providing students with the ability to engage in education industry and corporate education training, as well as human resource management in the future. They can also study education and engage in teaching jobs. Or take the national examination as an education administrator or general public servant. Each class of the department provides education policy analysis ability courses, school management and leadership courses, and cultural and educational law courses, and actively seeks cross-domain integration of education, management, and cultural, educational, and legal studies to establish a theoretical framework and scope for educational policies and educational operations. Engaged in academic research on educational policy, educational administration, educational evaluation, educational management, human resource development, principal studies, school leadership, school affairs management, and cultural and educational law. In order to meet the needs of management talents in cultural and educational undertakings and education departments of various industries, with the purpose of cultivating professionals who have integrated education and management, the course design considers the development of students' career paths, focusing on the theory and practice of courses in the field of education and management, and strengthens the digital design of science and technology professional courses enables students to have information professional knowledge and skills. The curriculum for each class is designed as follows:

    1). Based on self-positioning and educational goals, the bachelor's class provides cross-disciplinary learning. A team of teachers with education and management majors plans to offer courses that integrate theory and practice with both education and management majors to cultivate students' core abilities.

    2). Based on self-positioning and educational goals, the teaching and political master class provides cross-field learning and offers courses combining education and management to cultivate students' core abilities.

    3). The curriculum of the Master of Cultural and Educational Law emphasizes both theory and practice, and provides courses such as legal practice and visits to foreign cultural and educational organizations to strengthen students' learning experience in cultural and educational institutions, legal practice circles, and exchanges with international cultural and educational organizations.

    4). The doctoral program cultivates cross-field professional manpower, and based on self-positioning and educational goals, offers both education and management professional courses to cultivate students' core abilities.

    5). The on-the-job special class of the master's degree in school administration uses courses that integrate theory and practice of education and management majors to provide field learning to cultivate students' core abilities.

    6). The on-the-job special class of the Master of Educational Leadership and Management (Penghu Class) provides educators in outlying islands to conduct cross-field professional knowledge learning and training to improve self-knowledge.     7). The aboriginal class is cultivating professional aboriginal culture and education talents with legal literacy, so as to actively revitalize the aboriginal language and culture. Based on self-positioning and educational goals, develop the cross-field integration of culture, education and law, establish profound knowledge and professional skills, root in the concept of open multiculturalism, cultivate teamwork spirit, pay equal attention to theory and practice, and implement cultural and educational human rights.
